self portrait 2

With this self portrait series, I tried to depict the things those define me, in the way I perceive them. I tried to visualize the gaze of my sight by the use of panoramic stitching and tried to emphasize the importance of objects in a given environment by the size, blurriness and intensity of color (e.g. the out of focus and gray half of a room, which I never use. I have lesser visual information in my mind and this is more or less the level of detail I can recall). There are also some deliberate details, which are probably only readable by myself. Because of the way I handled “self portrait” concept, I believe that was necessary to keep it faithful to my own perception.
